Vol. 65/2024: New publishing cycle has commenced and welcome to our new section editor for rhinos

Thank you for visiting the Pachyderm website. The Editorial Board is pleased to announce that a new publishing cycle has commenced and the next issue of Pachyderm, Vol. 65 will be published in November 2024, and will incorporate relevant news covering October 2023-September 2024 from the Chairs of the specialist groups.
Pachyderm provides high quality, academically robust information and knowledge, vital to progress rhino and elephant conservation and research, the Editorial Board invites new research on all aspects of conservation management for wild populations of African elephants, African rhinos and Asian rhinos.
Pachyderm is a complimentary journal in support of the long-term conservation goals of the IUCN SSC African Elephant Specialist Group, African Rhino Specialist Group and Asian Rhino Specialist Group.
We welcome Keryn Emslie, the new section editor overseeing rhino material to the team. Keryn has over three decades of field experience specializing in rhino habitat studies/assessments starting in uMfolozi Game Reserve, SA; and has also worked in East Africa and West Africa.
