2023-02-23Esmond was a Life Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and long-time supporter of the RGS. The RGS will be continuing Esmond's legacy by celebrating outstanding achievements in wildlife conservation and environmental research by others following in his footsteps with the awarding of the inaugural Esmond B. Martin Royal Geographical Society Prize.

The Editorial Board is pleased to announce to our readership that the next issue of Pachyderm, Vol. 62 has commenced production. If you are currently writing your MSc or PhD in relevant pachyderm fields, we invite you to consider publishing with us.
If you are interested in being a reviewer, please register on http://pachydermjournal.org and also let Kees Rookmaaker (rhinorrc@gmail.com), Lydia Tiller (lydiatiller@gmail.com), or Suzannah Goss (pachydermeditor@gmail.com) know that you are interested in helping out. Your efforts really do contribute to keeping Pachyderm in high demand. Elephant related material to both Lydia and Suzannah, and rhino related material to Kees.
