Abstract

Reviews the continued population of elephants as found in monitoring of protected areas, the decreasing size in tusks obtained and relevance of the ongoing populations modelling to the actual situation. Notes the recent decision of exporting countries to set quotas and work going on to put this in place and mentions monitoring work and other aspects of interest to the AERSG.
