Tsavo - the legacy

Abstract

This short article acts as review of the Tsavo story from the perspective of historical recall by a wildlife manager who was in the region but not directly involved in the specific area in the early 1970s. Spinage suggests that the management actions taken and not taken at that time continue to shadow wildlife management not just in Kenya but throughout the continent.
